Olive International School (OIS) celebrated India’s 75th Independence Day with all solemnity and dignity at the primary campus in Thumama on Sun, 15th August 2021 amidst the presence OIS management, staff and students.
The Indian National Flag was unfurled by the Chairman, Mr. Devis Edakulathur followed by a beautiful dance performance by the support staff and a patriotic song sung by the teachers. The Chairman stated how India is a progressive nation and why each Indian should be proud of it. Mr. Rony Paul, the vice-chairman motivated the students to strive hard and make the nation proud of them. The event ended with a vote of thanks.

Olive International School, Doha, always promotes the scientific attitude among young
students and aims to nurture and explore the hidden talent of the students.
It was a proud moment when a few budding scientists brought laurels to the school with their
OIS is proud to announce that Ashley Hemanth emerged victorious with flying colours and
was declared as the Shastra Prathibha in the junior category of the & Shastra Pratibha
contest-2020-21, a Science talent search examination conducted by Science India Forum,
Along with her, Monish Raj Sekhar, Jaishnavi Karthick, and Lohithakshith Pati were declared
All the young achievers were brilliantly trained under the able guidance of HOD of the
Department of Science.
The Principal and Management congratulated all the young achievers and the Department of
Science for this grand success.
Samaira Imran khan, a grade 8 student of Olive International School, has been shortlisted as one of the top ten winners of a Baking contest (Category 1: 12-18 age group) conducted by The Bakers Arena which is a baking contest complemented by specially curated workshops conducted by experts, to let the participants all over the world, ‘Learn, Compete and Win’. Samaira was awarded a gift hamper, and the 21 Day Specially designed Bakers Course with certification, from Amity University, Jaipur, and e-Certificates.

Indian School conducted the seventh season of the Inter-School Quiz
Competition, ENCUESTA 2021, between all Indian schools on 15 th June 2021 via’
digital platform. 11 teams from various Indian schools participated in the competition. The Olive team comprised of students from grades VI-VIII Mater Izyan Khan, Master Mathew Joseph and Master Pranav Sahaj Yejju. The trio won with a total of 530 points followed by DPS Modern School bagging second
position with 510 points and Birla Public School bagged third position with 480
