DISCIPLINE POLICY
- The school is committed to promoting high standards of behaviour, self-discipline and learning through positive encouragement, rewards and merits. In case of any infraction by the student !he Discipline Committee will investigate the incident, review, discuss and deliberate the incident report submitted by the teacher(s) and suggest appropriate disciplinary action. Failure to meet the required standards of behaviour will be reported to the parents resulting in detention. The student will be issued demerit cards which have to be signed by the parents. Depending on the severity of the infraction, as last resolution, the student under question may be suspended or expelled from the school.
- Objective: The school believes that discipline is crucial for personality development of the students and emphasizes on instilling a sense of responsibility and accountability for his/her actions in a socially acceptable manner. Discipline committee is responsible for examining alleged breaches of discipline within the school and making adjudications. Student discipline is a critical factor in maintaining a safe learning environment for students and staff.

- Emphasize and advocate the character training and behaviour of the students. Help students to conform to the school rules and regulations.
- Meet the student in question followed by a counseling session, to explain the consequences commensurate with offense committed and its negative effects on their life.
- Take suitable disciplinary action towards student'smisconduct, depending on the severity of the infraction.
- The faculty member who reported or discovered the infraction will prepare an incident report and will cooperate with the Discipline Committee throughout the investigation.

Review, discuss, deliberate analyze the matter with the members of the Discipline Committee, henceforth come to a mutual decision whether to call for the parents and issue him/her a Pink card along with 'first warning letter' followed by a Yellow card along with 'second warning letter', and finally a Red card along with a 'Final warning Letter', depending upon the seriousness of the infraction. The Discipline Committee will also decide on the need for counseling the students and the parents. All decisions taken by the Discipline Committee will be intimated to the Principal whose approval is required before implementation. After all the information is gathered, investigated and reviewed by the Discipline Committee will take an appropriate action, which may lead to:
- Suspension
- Expulsion/ Rustication

Any student who is issued a Pink card (first warning letter) or Yellow card (second warning letter) has improved significantly and has not been issued any card during the course of the year he/ she will be exonerated from his/her infractions.

- Non-compliance with transport rules
- Being disrespectful to students,faculty and staff

- Insulting teachers or staff members
- Destruction of school property
- Lying,stealing,privacy violation
- Use of mobile phones in the school campus without permission
- Smoking or use of drugs/alcohol in the campus
- Malpractices or using unfair means during exams
- Habitual non-conformity to the school rules by students and parents
- Inappropriate behavior like touching/showing private parts of one's own or others
- Afflicting injury to other student(hitting/pushing/kicking/physical abuse/verbal abuse)
